A wider view of the very large Sanctuary area, which of course was designed that way so that the whole of the original Picpus Father's Junior Novitiate community could worship there.
The marble altar is carved with a representation of the Last Supper. This is not the original altar, but came from the English Mother House of the Franciscan Missionaries of Saint Joseph in the 1960's.
